Blooming Wild: Bikepacking 

The 'BW: Bikepacking' weekend was created for people who are bikepacking-curious. This weekend will be ideal for you if you're keen to learn more about 'bikepacking' kit and various packing methods. Along with increasing your wild camping knowledge and practising bike mechanics to keep you rolling on the trails. The purpose of the weekend is to build upon your skills, knowledge and confidence, enabling you to set off on your own bikepacking adventures.

During the weekend you will be guided on a typical Scottish gravel/road ride with a wild camp in a beautiful secluded spot. I would grade the terrain at low level with areas to 'session' and progress. Please don't worry about fitness levels or abilities, all rides are at party pace.

18th & 19th May 2024- Isle of Arran (women/nb/t only) £200pp

22nd/23rd June 2024- Isle of Arran (women/nb/t) £200pp

29th/30th June 2024- Isle of Arran (mixed) £200pp

To make these opportunities more accessible I have created a 'Pay What You Can' system.

£200 for those who generally feel comfortable each month with their finances.

£150 for those who can't quite afford to pay full price.

£100 for those who would generally struggle to pay for experiences like this.

 

Please let me know if there are any barriers stopping you from joining us as I may be able to help with bikepacking kit or payment plans. Lights can also be borrowed or tested from Exposure Lights and ride snacks are provided by Rawvelo, feel free to bring your own. Arran can be accessed by train and ferry (Ardrossan to Brodick) for as little as £9 return, no additional cost for bike spaces as a foot passenger.
